Thanks for the wonderful “Ping Back” and linking me to your list. Was not only a great surprise on a personal level, but, some what ironic, as I was working on ways to better link a business site I help manage, and write content on, across the web when I noticed the “Ping Back” … the timing was perfect.

This is great information. I’m happy you rounded up all of these links. There are so many times I want to know if i can and how to freeze various vegetables. They can be a big convenience and I think I read somewhere that frozen vegetables can be just as good for you as fresh…no matter if they are or not the convenience may encourage me to eat more vegetables which I know is good.

My husband and I just bought our “Forever Home” six days ago; I can finally go back to growing food and I couldn’t be more excited! (I really hate paying money for the food I could be growing for ourselves for pennies, creativity, and some elbow grease.)
The thing is, I’ve not yet tried actually preserving the vegetables/fruit by itself. It’s always ended up being ‘preserved’ in soups/stews/breads/as ingredients. This year, we are purchasing a pressure cooker &/or a hot water bath pot with rack. I can get jars and rings and lids at no cost, so that is yet another reason to not delay learning the best ways to preserve our harvest(s).
The timing of finding this list is incredibly fortunate for us, and I look forward to utilizing the tips, iformation, and instructions contained herein. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with your readers!
